Lovely lunch with friends We met some great friends here for lunch. Haven't been here for many years. Its been smartened up but in a traditional pub feel. Nice varied menu, lovely friendly helpful staff Very good food - cheese soufflé, whitebait, Brie. Then Ribs, F&C and chicken schnitzel. All very good. Plus could resist puddings Will be back soon

Amazing roast dinner Honestly… the most delicious roast beef I’ve had for a very long time. Only critique I could add is perhaps it could have been a little hotter but the meat was perfect and the veg cooked to order. truly scrumptious

First time here for along time. Smipley delicious exerience all round. Made our birthday evening very special . Will difinitely visit again.

The stop for lunch while hiking the Overton Circular. Lovely pub with great food. We all had clean plates at the end of our meal. Everyone had the roast which they raved about while I had the risotto which was absolutely delicious.

Family get together following a cremation. Excellent food provided and really good service at the bar. A little out of the way but with a lovely beer garden. Would be lovely on a hot summer day.

Great food, nice surroundings & good service. Recommend the venison or steak & ale pie from the menu.

We were looking for a country pub for lunch. We found the Fox, with good menu, fantastic food.. Be aware large portions well presented. Vicky and staff very welcoming. Will certainly return.
